Data being processed
The data that users provide when filling out the registration form or performing other actions on the website are used to create an account in the Odoo system at the user's request, to provide personal access to selected services, to collect statistics in web analytics services such as GA4, and also for the purpose of preparing special personalized marketing offers and sending them through marketing communication channels such as email newsletters, messages in messengers, SMS messages.
Account and contact details:
When you register on our website to use or download one of our products or to subscribe to one of our services (Odoo Online, Free Trial, Odoo Apps, Odoo.sh, etc.) or fill out one of our contact forms, you voluntarily provide us with certain information. This usually includes your name, company name, email address, and phone number, postal address (when an invoice or delivery is needed), your business sector, and interest in Odoo, as well as a personal password.
We never record or store credit card information from our clients and always rely on trusted third-party payment processors, compliant with PCI-DSS, to process credit cards, including for processing recurring payments.

Browser data:

Similarly, when you upload a local database to the Odoo Upgrade website, you own the data in it.
These data often include personal information such as: your list of employees, your contacts and clients, your messages, photos, videos, etc. We collect this information only on your behalf, and you always retain ownership and full control over these data.
In-App Purchase (IAP) transaction data:
When you use Odoo in the Odoo cloud or on your own deployments, some additional In-App Purchase services may be active by default. This usually includes autocomplete features that help you quickly enter customer and supplier information, as well as integration with third-party service providers for sending and receiving SMS, paper letters, etc.
When you use these services without payment, some necessary transaction data is sent to Odoo cloud services and must be transmitted to third-party services for service fulfillment.
Data required for the site
The data required for the service, which is filled out in the website registration form, as well as browser cookies. By filling out the form or performing any actions on the website, the user voluntarily agrees to provide their personal data.
Purpose of collecting personal information.

Personal data may be transferred to foreign entities involved in personal data relations, also in the case of:
- provision by the personal data subject of explicit consent for such transfer;
- the necessity of concluding or performing a transaction between the owner of personal data and a third party - the subject of personal data for the benefit of the subject of personal data;
- the necessity to protect the vital interests of personal data subjects;
- the need to protect the public interest, establish, enforce, and ensure a legal claim;
- providing by the data controller appropriate guarantees regarding non-interference in the personal and family life of the data subject.
